The AutomataPi CoPilot app allows agents to access cases related to the automation workflow they’re working on. The requirement is to design a streamlined experience for accessing these cases via the 'Inbox' section, which is used by employees to manage instances like support requests, invoice follow-ups, etc. The current experience allows users to see all the details of a case - notes, documents, email trails, etc., but it is not immediately obvious what is the status of a case and what they need to do next.
Goal
The aim of this project is to revamp and enhance the dashboard to offer employees an unparalleled user experience. The goals are briefly stated down below:
-
To create a user-friendly for easy access to assigned cases to the agents.
-
To get an at-a-glance view of the status of a given case.
-
Effortlessly explore inputs, extracted information, and recommendations from users with intuitive navigation.
-
Execute necessary actions on the case effortlessly, facilitated by a seamless user interface.
Started off by reviewing a previous version of the application.

Step 2
Ideation
We started off by creating some wireframes to discover how potential new ui elements and features will adapt to the product's logic. This phase is really important as some of the steps are essential to set ground for building new user interface and for creating the first set of design system for the product.

Step 3
Defining
Through our exploration, we found that enhancing both the structure and the user interface could significantly improve the user experience. As a result, we initiated efforts to develop an enhanced version of the product that addresses both aspects.
1. Structure

As a general rule grids help you order information more efficiently. They help create consistency, proportion, rhythm, and harmony across any design that uses the same grid system.
2. UI Elements

Design system helps to define and standardize visual elements like color, typography, spacing, and imagery. A well-defined visual language can enhance the perceived quality of the product.
